I have notices that i seem to be almost the only one excepting yahoo messenger and email, is that because its bad??
and if it is then why?

You're opening yourself up to all sorts of emails and IMs by making that information available to a bunch of total strangers.
Protecting yourself thru privacy is a vital aspect of being online. You're not protecting yourself right now and that's not a good thing.
