I just got an email from one of my Messenger Contacts saying?

Yahoo is shutting down on August 17th. They want to get rid of free messenger...Right click on the group name of your buddylist and click, Send Instant Message to All in Group


Is there in truth to this??

Reply:That rumor has been floating around for a few years now. It would not surprise me in the least if it came to pass but I don't see it happening until after yahoo gets sold. And they would make an attempt to let us know about it.
