Reply:i'm having a very similar problem as yours and I stumbled upon your answer along the way. After you log into your mail hit the help button at the top right of your screen. In the help center you'll see a space available to input a question. Type in Delete my yahoo account. You'll see other similar questions right there. Pick the question that is most close to yours and click on it. It will direct you to a password page. Type in your password. You will then be directed to the account termination page. Proceed from there. Also, if you get a new account make sure you create a sign in seal to prevent your new account from being phished. Good luck and I hope I've helped you.
Reply:to do this you need to delete your entire ID which includes premium services which you must discontinue before deleting your account or you will still be billed

WARNING: once you close your account you will not be able to re-open any part of it, but if you wish to come back to yahoo then you are more than welcome to create a new ID
