How do I turn OFF the 'messenger' inside my email?

Every time I open my email, it automaticaly signs me into the yahoo messenger incorporated in the email - and signs me OFF/out of the messenger on the side. it shuts down my chats, everythings. it is very annoying.





I want no messenger in the email. or the option to turn it on/off as I need. Right now it's a real pain.

this is what you do:


If you look up on the right of your YAHOO ID you'll see AVAILABLE when you're available to chat with your friends. Now click on that and press SIGN OUT OF CHAT to sign out and use the YAHOO MESSENGER instead of built in messenger in the Yahoo! Mail Beta. Hope this helps.

Reply:so far I can guess you're using 'yahoo!mail beta' version. and so you're facing such problem.





if so, you just switch previous version. and you can get rid of all problems.
